On the heels of a tremendous year of growth in 2015, Massage Heights, a leader of professional, affordable and convenient therapeutic massage and facial services, announced today it has established a new holding company for Massage Heights Franchising, The Elevated Brands.

Additionally, The Elevated Brands has made its first acquisition, the first ultra-premium men’s grooming and lifestyle club, The Gents Place. The Elevated Brands will lead the efforts to grow the brand nationally through the franchising model.

Glenn Franson, principal of Massage Heights, has been appointed CEO of The Elevated Brands. He will continue to play a key role in international development for Massage Heights while also leading operations and cost-saving initiatives as president of the brand’s supply chain, Summit Franchise Supply. Franson will transition from his CEO role at Massage Heights and Shane Evans, founder and president of Massage Heights, will continue to lead day-to-day operations of the company.

“Over the last 12 years, we’ve grown Massage Heights from a single location to more than 140 retreats across the U.S. and Canada. Now, through The Elevated Brands, we are able to leverage our collective experience to build a family of lifestyle brands that are dedicated to the well-being of those they serve,” said Franson. “We were instantly attracted to The Gents Place as The Elevated Brands’ first acquisition and incredibly impressed with what the brand founder, Ben Davis, has created. His passion to help gentlemen look and feel their best so they can change the world is inspiring. The Gents Place truly embodies everything The Elevated Brands stands for and we look forward to working with them to propel The Gents Place brand to nationwide franchise growth.”

Founded in Dallas, Texas in 2008 by Ben Davis, The Gents Place currently has three lifestyle clubs in Texas and one in Kansas City.

“We’re thrilled to partner with The Elevated Brands and the leadership team behind Massage Heights to expand The Gents Place nationwide through its proven franchising model,” said Davis. “I’m confident their deep experience in and knowledge of the health and wellness industry will help us accelerate our growth beyond what we ever would have been able to do on our own.”

The Elevated Brands seeks to partner with businesses that, like The Gents Place, align with the company’s business model, long-term goals and objectives and, most importantly, family-oriented values. Through its expertise with startup franchise companies, The Elevated Brands is committed to helping emerging brands grow a proven model.
