The Riverside Company, a global private investor focused on the smaller end of the middle market, has acquired The Lash Lounge (Lash Lounge), an industry-leading eyelash salon franchise. Lash Lounge offers an array of custom lash and brow services designed to help women feel beautiful, exuding confidence from the inside out. Based in Dallas, TX, Lash Lounge has more than 129 locations across 31 states in the U.S.
“Lash Lounge is the third acquisition for our newest platform, Head to Toe Brands, as we continue to execute on the thesis of creating a leading multi-brand franchisor of beauty & personal care services brands,” said Riverside Micro-Cap Fund (RMCF) Managing Partner Loren Schlachet. “We are excited to partner with the Lash Lounge team to build upon the strong history and reputation Lash Lounge has built over the years and help accelerate the company’s growth and geographic reach into more areas.”
Riverside’s investment in Lash Lounge marks Riverside’s 54th acquisition in the franchising space and is the most recent example of the firm’s commitment to its Franchising specialization. Riverside has invested in a cadre of successful franchise companies, growing them through operating expertise and strategic add-ons.
Lash Lounge CEO Meg Roberts also added, “We are thrilled to partner with Riverside and believe this partnership will elevate the Lash Lounge franchise to new heights. This partnership is the start of ‘business as better’ for our network – fueling the organization for growth and driving a path to success across the franchised beauty industry.”
“The Lash Lounge is an established leader in the lash and brow service industry because of their unwavering commitment to providing the highest quality services and exceptionally well-trained lash artists who are masters of their craft,” said RMCF Senior Partner Alan Peyrat. “Riverside’s expertise in technology, marketing and operational support will be extremely valuable as we continue to scale the success of our Lash Lounge franchisees and expand the brand into more communities.”
